Quiet and very good heating
I love this heater! We’ve only been using it a week but are very dependent on it. Our family room windows are on the northbside where the cold air from a mountain seems to drom down directly in through our windows. This unit takes that nip out of the room. We actually had to drop our thermostate a few degrees. No noise, no fan, radient heat is just perfect! The remote works for us but the controller is right on top and easily accessible in case the remote ever stoos working. We’ve kept ours on 70 ever since we received it. Not sure how hot the back may be but there is a plastic handle on the back top which you can easily lift. You can roll it back and forth on the base wheels as well. I love the sleek modern design.

Wonderful product, very easy to use
I’m impressed. Very easy to setup up, generates a great amount of radiant heat, comes with a dust cover, instructions for using it via an iPhone app and a remote, feet with rollers. Caution to buyers: #1 – the remote doesn’t come with batteries. It takes AAA. #2This is a radiant heater – it heats objects, not the air via a heat coil and fan. This is why posts from others may state that it doesn’t heat the room. If you’re in a small room with a closed door, it will cast off enough heat from the temperature of the device, similar to getting near the burners on an electric stove. BUT it’s not designed to do that. You will feel the heat within a certain amount of distance from the front of the device.

Impressive
So far im impressed. It took the chill out of the air almost immediately. Very hot to the touch not safe for babies or curious pets. Notice the hvac heat turning off more frequently but not enough to keep it off. Im using this in a sunroom that causes a lot of cold spots and drafts. Turned it on and almost immediately noticed the chill was gone. If I put two of these in the room, I could imagine it feeling really warm.

Soothing and quiet warmth!
Soothing warmth, completely quiet, easy to use and we love the smart features. It’s large enough to warm our living room, has auto shut off and accurately shows the temp. at the sensor, which is actually external. The smart app works well.

Having just received this product, I’m basing my review on first impressions. The unit heats slowly, but well. The instructions are simple and straightforward, and the controls are simple and functional. Overall, a well-designed product.

Perfect heater, hung on a concrete wall
Perfect. We have a 400sq ft office space in our shop that is a cinderblock addition. It has no hvac ducting. We had 4 space heaters before to keep it comfortable in Michigan winters. I bought this last month and we mounted it on the north concrete wall. Its out of the way and radiates heat all day. Its Perfect! No more space heaters, just this radiator. It comes on a set of rolling Wheels but It gets VERY hot to the touch on the front and the back. If you have pets or little kids, you’re probably want it out of their reach.

My kitchen toaster heats a room better than this
Product doesn’t work as described. I bought this heater to help heat up my medium sized room (less than 250sq ft). I set my wall thermostat. at 72° and the space heater set at 76° and ran all night long. I was expecting to wake up to a nice warm room but the room was still at 72°. This space heater that ran for over 8 hrs didn’t raise the room temperature 1°. I checked the unit to make sure it was working and it was quite hot to the touch, but I had to stand directly in front of it to feel any heat. The “ball” feet are also are also a joke. The wheels are in the shape of an actual sphere but only roll front and backward… pointless design. My kitchen toaster works better than this $200 piece of junk.

Super quiet and efficient
Great space heater. Super quiet and effective. Do have to express that the 160sqft recommended size is correct. Tried in a family room around 280-300sqft and it wasn’t as effective. I like the soft touch buttons and the portability. I actually bought a second one two days later for my wife’s home office.I set it at 70 and it regulates the room perfectly on eco setting. I do not setup the wifi connectivity at this time. If I mount on the wall later, I will set that up.

Works well, the heater gets hot because it’s a heater, that should be obvious to people buying a heater, this heater works extremely effectively and throws lots of useful heater in a much better method than a forced air space heater would.Comes with a cover and the ability to mount on wall or floor, I don’t really have anything bad to say about it. I’d buy another one if needed.

It warms very well, cost only 1.5kWh exactly. A small room can be warmed very fast and very well. It can be controlled by alexa, and timer to auto turn off after night sleep. It is very safe and money efficient compare to any other small heating method.

My Two Cents –
I have a guest bedroom in the basement, and one of my worries when someone stays with me over the colder months is whether they’re warm enough. I have a tall house (3 storeys plus basement), so it doesn’t help to turn up the furnace – it just makes the upper storeys warm, and it raises my gas bill.When I saw this Ballu Mica Infrared heater, I did some research before actually deciding to order it as I was unfamiliar with mica infrared technology. After getting info and deliberating, I decided to give this a try. It’s not cold yet so I can only assess based on initial trial. The upcoming winter will be the true test and I’ll update this review with further experience.What I like so far:- Lightweight, slim profile and portable. It has a handle, and if I have a guest staying in the guest bedroom, they can also wheel it into the bathroom to use there if they feel cold. (The heater comes with a stand with wheels. It can also be wall mounted, but I prefer having it be more portable.)- Quiet operation. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet this is. There is almost no noise. Considering it’s being used in a bedroom, it’s an important feature.- Heats up fast. Literally in a minute, it can get to the set temperature.- Can pair with Alexa although I’ve not tried that or the app yet.- Has safety features. The heater is ETL rated – Very important for something that heats up. Also anti-tip feet and overheat protection.What’s I don’t like so far:- A “burning” smell. I think this is because the heater is new? I hope it dissipates over multiple uses.- I feel as though the heating is uneven. I think that’s the fact of infrared / radiant heating – it feels warm in front of the machine but the air doesn’t feel as warm. The room is less than 200 sq ft and is insulated, with 2 interior walls and 2 exterior walls. It’ll require experimenting to identify the ideal placement – my first try was at the side of the room which warmed up half the room more than the other.- Came with a remote without batteries. However, there are buttons on top of the heater for manual control.I am not a fan of winter months, but with this heating, I do look forward to giving this heater a good run to see if it works well over the long term, when used for several hours a day.
