Oval size allow me to section for 2 sides
I really like this for cooking for one or two people. I bought it for a friend in Silver and she called and told me how she cooked bone in bbq chicken without any issues.I have a couple of round 2qt slow cookers but after her raving review I bought it in red for myself. I haven’t used it for meat yet but I am cooking green beans with potatoes and mustard greens in it now. The oval size is perfect for me to divide it and using a small slow cooker bag cook both at once. Then I’m cooking a half chicken in my 4qt round slow cooker. Works out great.

Not a Brand Snob? Elite Gourmet is really OK!
The size is perfect for 1 or 2 people (or chili cheese dip). I can leave it on the counter and put my big, heavy 7-quart crock pot away for company. The oval shape seems easier to clean for some reason. The controls are simple – nothing fancy, which is what I wanted. Just a couple things that may concern others – the lid is a bit rocky/ill fitting. Also, just like my big slow cooker, there doesn’t seem to be a big difference between low and high temps. Liquids can boil on low. One more thing — love the red!

Great little slow cooker
It’s perfect for 1-2 people. Works as it should and even has a warm setting. I also like that it is oval instead of round. Price was good too.I also bought the liners for this size cooker but would not rate them as high because in my opinion they were too expensive for 5 liners.

Excellent 3 quart slow cooker
I bought this 3 quart model in order to make meals for 1 – 2 people. The stoneware pot is heavy, but easy to clean. The pot itself can get quite hot, so need to be careful handling it. The cooker works as expected, able to make stews and, for example, a Cornish hen (see photo). Just fill the bottom of the pot with vegetables, in this case, halved sweet potato and carrots, so that the hen is a bit raised from the bottom. Season the hen with herbs, such as thyme, garlic, rosemary, and then add a bit of liquid, such as broth, cooking wine, about 3/4 inch in bottom, set the hen on top, cover and cook on high. This one was cooked for about 4 1/2 hours, to the correct internal temp, no pink juices running out of meat. Just remember that meat will not brown as in oven, but still okay. This cooker is easy to use, just set and go, free from the kitchen. Good price.

Perfect for two people!!We had bought it because our normal crock pot was too big and some recipes were not even covering the bottom.This is perfect. It does cook a bit faster than the big ones but everything is so good.

This little crockpot is perfect for making soup and oatmeal. Just the right size I needed. Clean-up is easy. I had another one of these a few years ago and found food stuck to the pot. I don’t have that problem with this one. The small size also makes it compact, and it fits nicely in the cupboard when I put it away.
