These Are Super Cool Lights
I bought two packs of these for $20 each for my son. He loved the idea of putting them together in his own patterns. The colors are super bright (can be dimmed) and vibrant. He loves all the settings, especially when music is played and the lights go with the beat. They are simple to set up but I wasn’t crazy about the circular adhesive tape that goes on each light. I was concerned about too much damage to the walls when they get removed. So, I ended up buying a thin piece of wood and cut it to the pattern my son liked, attached a picture hanger then hung it on the wall. Can’t see the wood and I don’t have to worry about damage to the walls.Like other reviews, the adhesive circles that are included are terrible. I had to buy command tape instead. Otherwise, everyone loves these, we definitely recommend them.

Very good for the price
I’ve been looking into something like this for my son with autism for a while but they were always so expensive. These were on sale so for the price I took a chance. They feel kind of cheap but the light works wonderfully it’s very bright and the remote allows you to change the colors easily. You can also tap them to change colors which works decently well. The adhesive they provide is garbage lol I used the command hook stickies and they worked perfect just don’t rely on the provided adhesive tabs. Otherwise for the price it’s a great value!

Wonderful lights but adhesive could be better
The lights itself are super nice and bright (dimmable) the colors are very vibrant as well and they can also be sync to music. Only downside is the adhesive. They don’t stick well on some walls ( probably due to the paint). It fell after 2 days I had to sue command strip to stick to my wall.

It’s nice, but they start messing up after maybe the 3rd or 4th design change
I got these since they were on sale at the time. Fun product. Great way to create a nice design. The only issues I have are the adhesives for it are very lackluster and that they are prone to issues with the USB-A ports failing after maybe changing the look a 2nd or 3rd time. Not really a good time. I put in both pegs to keep it from shifting during use, but it didn’t help at all.

Great lights if on sale (can synch more than 12 at a time and also use extensions for creativity)
Got these for under $20 per set of 6 while on sale a few months ago. 1 hex did come with a rattling broken piece of plastic in it but I will forgive that as it didnt seem to impact anything else. Instructions say that you can hook up 12 at most, and I saw other reviewers mention problems. I was able to get 18 of them to run fine. The trick is to make sure you are providing enough power and at the right locations. If certain hexes appeaer faded/lighter than other areas, it probably is too far from the current hex that has the power plugged into it. I would distribute the power as much as possible instead of all in 1 spot. The example pic/vid I posted is of my setup (pawprint) as I wanted to use it as a makeshift memorial for my dog that I recently lost. You can use USB-A extension cables to space the hexes if you want. You only really need 1 of the sensors for the remote to be attached (unless you wanted different groupings). The sound reacting mode is pretty solid too and I was surpirsed with how bright these panels can really get. Of course they are remote only. I wish it was Google/Alexa compatible but for the price I paid I already am getting enough value. Would def reccommend if around the $20-30 mark for a set of 6.

Don’t Waste Your Money!!! VERY Disappointed!
I purchased my GE tile lights in January. They worked splendidly for about a month or two. Now, just a few short months later, I’m saving up for Nanoleaf lights (the superior brand, high-quality alternative to this product), necessitated because these tiles are endlessly problematic.Normally, when you press the center sun button on the remote, all of the tiles are supposed to turn white. As you can see, this is no longer the case for my tiles. When I press the center button, I get a mix of dark yellow, light yellow, white, and off-white. I can mask this effect to an extent by choosing one of the 8 color settings, but it’s still very clear that the tiles don’t match because of the yellow layered behind some of them. No matter how many times I unplug, change the placement of the chord, plug the usb end of the chord into a different tile, etc. this issue will not resolve itself. Sometimes, when I reset the tiles by unplugging, waiting, then plugging, the yellow will fade a bit. But it ALWAYS comes back, just as significantly as you see in the yellow/white photo. This issue also sometimes prevents all the lights from turning off when I prompt them too. So as you can see in the other photo, sometimes only a portion of the lights will turn off. I have also had a LOT of other issues with flashing colors that should be solid, amongst others. In addition to being terrible in quality and longevity, these lights are SUPER dim! they are only 10 lumens, which is so dim in the dark that I have to turn on my ridiculously bright ceiling light in order to see anything. Unless your room is the size of a cat’s litter box, it will NOT be illuminated in the dark whatsoever.Nanoleaf lights are expensive. But I can assure you that shelling out those extra $, and using the money you would’ve used for these to put towards those, is TOTALLY worth it!(And quick disclaimer: I have no connection to Nanoleaf. They just happen to be the gold standard when it comes to lights like these.)PLEASE. DON’T. WASTE. YOUR. MONEY. ON. THIS!!!

Didn’t withstand the test of time.
I purchased this product in August 2023. It’s beautiful I absolutely love the idea and how cool it makes my place look. Great technology coming out here. Making smart house dreams come true :). My set has just not really worked well since the first time I plugged them in. It’s almost as if the power doesn’t distribute through them as it should. Also not super easy to set up and secure. The 3M tape didn’t hold well. I still have them up but not lit they still look kind of cool. I’m dreading the damage of pulling the tape off the wall …
