Perfect Slow Cooker!
We had to replace our very old crockpot when the knob broke off. That one had an autoshift mode that made day long cooking a breeze. This goes beyond that with the thermometer. We tried a 6 lb turkey breast with the probe and it worked perfectly. It went to warm once it was done. No work required other than take it out and eat it. It was easy to use and cleanup. It has other features for timed cooking as well.This a larger unit. It’s perfect for chili and many other items. The lid look is a nice feature when transporting it and simply to keep it tightly closed when cooking. The lift out crock makes cleanup easy. We were nervous that this would not perform like our 30 year old crock pot but this blew it away.

Most excellent crockpot
Simple to use with electronic control panel. Takes a few minutes to heat up, even on high. Otherwise works well with even cooking and cooking within appropriate timeframe. Love the locking lid. Easy to transport now, fewer spills. Easy to clean. Haven’t used probe yet but is definitely an advantage I plan to use in the future.

Great crockpot
I’ve used this several times now. It works great. Its my second one and is a newer model than my old one. I still have my old one and it works great but after my husband dropped it, the electric display doesn’t work right so you can’t really tell the exact time that is programmed in the old one and that’s thw only reason I got a new one (my old one is 10 years old). I love my new one and that im able to program it and walk away and know it will kick down to a warm setting after cooking. I do think it runs hotter than my old one but have not had any issues with it affecting the cooking. Love that I can lock the lid down for traveling with no spills.

The locking lid is by far my favorite feature, prevents spills when delivering my pot roast over to the family dinner in thanksgiving traffic.Thermometer reader works perfectly, no more overcooking delicates. Easy to clean, stainless steel keeps it looking slick

Crockpot performance with special probe
Received the product on time. It’s a little smaller than I thought, however it’s perfect for two people meals. 4 to 5 lbs of meat or other vegetables. The lock down handles work well and I enjoy this feature. I like how I can set the setting and then put in the number of hours I want or I can set the finish temperature and use the attached probe. That is a game changer. I recently used the probe function on a pork loin roast and set it to 145f. When the roast reached that temperature, system goes to warm or hold temperature. Excellent performance.

Excellent Slow Cooker
Had to retire my 15 + yr old Hamilton Beach slow cooker. It served us well, it was still working but the control button covers were worn away. I wanted something similar and stuck with what I knew, Hamilton Beach. This one has all of the features my old one did, temperature probe, high low settings, optional manual timing with half hours, stays on warm when done, lid lock, etc… an added bonus on this one is the defrost feature before cooking which I believe automatically starts cooking after defrosting (I haven’t used it yet).My old one was a little larger which isn’t a big issue, 6 quarts is plenty big. Good value for the money.

Assuming (apparently naively) that any electrical appliance that I buy from amazon.co.uk would be compatible with the national power ratings (230V), I simply found a universal plug converter and plugged it in. And of course, I blew up the machine (a loud pop). Probably I blew up one of the capacitors (I could not see any fuse circuitry but my electrical engineering days are way behind me so might have missed it) and it is fixable.So anyone who is planning to purchase this equipment once it becomes available, please bear in mind that you will also have to invest for a powerful transformer (around £100).

Love this Slow cooker! I’ve been needing a programmable slow cooker that auto-switches to warm. I used to set my old one to low and burn food because I would only come home 9.5 hours after starting it! This slow cooker’s auto-warm function is amazing! Thank you Hamilton Beach! Also- haven’t tried the probe cook option yet, but know that we’ll love it as my husband hunts wild game and we need to make sure that the meat is cooked to a very specific temperature before eating. No complaints at all- great slow cooker.
