Pretty flame but very little heat
Three stars because it is nice to watch the fire dancing around inside the tube. It would get less than three for the amount of heat it puts out. We used it when the outside temperature was only 45F. We had to stand almost touching it to feel any heat. I’m going to buy another type of heater that actually puts out some heat but keep this one just to watch the fire.

Excellent heater…
This heater is an excellent product!. The instructions are so easy to follow everything is well mark including the screws, very well descriptions. And is very intuitive too…I have a tip for those who have some issue to light the pilot, you need to make sure the thermocouple is 1/8″ close to the other wire as show in the picture, you will see a small sparkle if is working and a blue little flame if you can’t see the flame you’ll notice the thermocouple is turning red, that means is working. After 30 seconds you can turn all the way to max the Variable control knob and you should be good to go.The customer service with this company is incredibly helpful, they go beyond if you have any problem… or msg me with questions if you think I can help you…

Low-ish price, low-ish quality
It took several hours to assemble, and fit is average to below average. Most parts fit together well, but the safety screens did not fit well due to poor quality control on the tabs. Everything could be addressed, but it shouldn’t need above average technical skills to compensate for poor manufacturing.
