Glass easy to clean. Soak in hot soapy water. It was just to small for my needs. Returned for a refund. I have ordered an air fryer triple shelf toaster oven. This should give me enough shelf footprint.

Small air fryer with some bad design flaws
Take a sheet of standard typing paper and fold it in half. That 5.5″ x 8″ size is roughly the size of the bottom of the (thick) glass bowl for this fryer. Once you get past the size, you have to deal with some design flaws that reduce the usefulness of this model.To begin with, the glass bowl sits loose under the heating element, with a gap on the top. That means that you’re losing heat while you’re cooking. Instead of capturing and recirculating the hot air, quite a bit leaves the unit while you’re cooking. When you remove the glass bowl, the unit turns off. When you stick it back in, the unit turns back on, whether you want it to or not.I’ve had plenty of appliances with “touch screens” but the screen on this fryer is moody and at times not responsive at all. Sometimes, my finger pad works, sometimes I have to turn my finger over and use my fingernail.I’ve found that it takes several minutes longer than my previous (no-name) air fryer, with a slide in metal basket did to cook similar foods at the same temperatures. I don’t know if it is because of the escaping heat, or that this oven’s temperatures are inaccurate.All in all, this might be a good gift for a college student in his own apartment. However, at $90 (at the time of this review,) I cannot recommend it to a family of any size.

The airfryer has worked great and the clean up is quick and easy. Selecting the feature of the item you want to cook was a little less intuitive than it could be but simple to figure out.

Dies ist mein vierter Airfyer, der erste hatte ein elektrisches Problem, beim zweiten platzte das Sichtfenster und der dritte wurde von außen sehr heiß. Mein vierter Versuch nun mit dem Kaitol Airfryer ist bislang, seit ca. 4 Wochen, ein Erfolgserlebnis. Er macht was er soll, ich backe sogar mein Brot in ihm und das wichtigste, es gab von Anbeginn an keinerlei furchtbaren Gerüche nach Plastik oder schlimmeren Dingen.Die Kaitol ist sehr leicht sauber zu halten, die Griffe am Glastopf werden nicht heiß, so daß sie jederzeit angefasst werden können, auch ohne Handschuhe und ich sehe die ganze Zeit wie weit meine Mahlzeiten fortgeschritten sind.Sie ist sehr leicht und intuitiv zu bedienen, unabhängig von den Programmen kann man auch bei laufendem Gerät jederzeit die Temperatur und die Zeit verändern. Am Ende des Garvorgangs bietet sie eine automatische Warmhaltefunktion bei ca. 80°C, welche erst erlischt, wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet wird.Wenn sie so weitermacht bin ich sehr zufrieden, mit der Kaitol endlich einen Fryer bekommen zu haben der mich überzeugt, auch gesundheitlich, denn weder der Fryer noch die Mahlzeiten riechen nach Kunststoff.

Das Gerät funktioniert sehr gut, es brauchte aber für ich Einarbeitung um die Programe zu verstehen. Im Endeffekt bin ich dann dazu übergegangen, auch händisch damit zu braten und backen. Die beiden Fächer können zwar unabhängig voneinander betrieben werden, aber beide gehen aus, wen man ein Fach öffnet. Die Ergebnsse sind gut, das Gerät ist leide, gut zu reinigen und hochwertig verarbeitet.

Better than the closed drawer varieties. You can see the food cooking and adjust time and heat as necessary. Easier to clean as well. Excellent product, saves time and energy. Rib eye steaks and chicken wings were made for this.
