Surprisingly awesome little speaker!
I originally grabbed the Monster Round One as a “why not” purchase, mostly to have something for the shower and for tossing in my bag on trips. Didn’t expect much—but this thing turned out to be a beast.First off, it handles steam and water like nothing. I’ve had it hanging in the shower and it hasn’t hiccuped once. The controls are easy enough to hit with wet hands, and it gets plenty loud without sounding tinny.The real surprise has been the durability. I’ve dropped it on tile, taken it out in the rain, and even used it on a dusty workbench. It just keeps going. Battery life has been solid, too—I only have to charge it every few days even with daily shower use and some backyard time.Now I’m seriously thinking about picking up a second one just to pair them for stereo. For the price and toughness, it feels like a no-brainer.If you want a waterproof speaker that actually sounds good and takes abuse, this one’s definitely worth it.

Solid, Inexpensive Bluetooth Speaker
Bluetooth speakers have become pretty widespread at this point, so it’s not really much of a novelty anymore, even the waterproof capabilities. Generally there are two categories, something simple and inexpensive, or something a bit larger with better sound that is going to cost more. This falls into the former category, and does a just fine job at that. Connection is quick and easy, and the sound is perfectly adequate coming from it. I own nicer/larger/more expensive ones, but this is great as a simple gift of just something to throw in the golf bag/kayak.
