Easy to fit and adjust, handles large TV’s well
Ordered to allow for 40″ LG TV to be wall mounted between my desk and my couch in my home office. The gas powered swivel is effective (with easy adjustment) to balance the TV weight and it allows be to pivot the TV for use on either side of the room, but even better I can have it ‘flat’ against the wall when not needed minimizing space used. Excellent product would recommend.

I’m going with 4 stars here because I’m trying to rate the unit rather than the experience. I believe this box had been previously opened and returned because some bags were torn open and some parts were transferred to normal Ziplock storage bags. One side of the wall bracket and been scratched all the way down to bare metal but I figure no one will see it. It’s behind the TV. I checked contents against the instruction manual and it appeared that someone had done a good job of returning everything so I continued with the setup. While going through the steps there were odd sequences, for instance I was suppose to remove the VESA plate from the arm and it was already separated. I was supposed to attach the silver decorative sides and they were already assembled. I continued on through until the instructions were completed but I had a Ziplock bag of several (maybe 10) black nylon-like bushings in 2 different lengths. I never have found where they go. I thought maybe on the arms pivot points but I disassembled one and found a very beefy shoulder bolt that was much too large for these bushings to go over, If a company rep is reading this, please let me know where these go or if they even belong to this unit at all. Anyway. I put the mount up and it wouldn’t move up or down even with a great deal of force. Someone had tightened the adjustment up so hard it popped when I broke it loose (maybe why they returned it?) and the TV began to float as intended. For right now the unit seems to be ok. Just a wee bit sticky when moving it around but honestly, how often am I going to move it once I get it set where I like it. It seems very strong. I like the looks of the unit and I like the concept and it IS working ok so I’m going to hang onto it. It covers all the angles and tilts that I had hoped for it to do so I’m going to stop complaining now and enjoy it! I’ll try to attach some pictures of bags and damage.

Good but not actually centered
The arm is stable and moves smoothly. I asked the question about of the monitor is centered when pushed back flat. Despite answers that it was, it’s is not. I have pushed the monitor flat against the wall and the center of the monitor is definitely 2 inches offset from the mounts base. The stud in my wall is centered with my desk, so unfortunately with this mount, I cannot get my monitor centered unless I pull it almost to the front edge of my desk.

Great value counterbalance arm
This is a great value compared to other adjustable arms, which generally cost about twice as much. It comes almost fully assembled, and the fins on the VESA plate only attach if you need to use them for a larger VESA pattern. It’s mostly metal construction, except the plastic shell that covers the arm.It is a little hard to adjust if you’re trying to move the arm before you mount it, so if it doesn’t budge, it’s normal. Once it’s mounted it should move more easily with the weight of the display attached. Adjustment of the tension is simple with the included hex key. When the tension is correct, adjustments are easy, and it has a great vertical range. Mounting to the wall is also simple enough.One item that I don’t see mentioned in the specs is the min/max weight, which is 5.5 to 44lbs. It should also be listed for displays from 26″ to 47″, as shown on the box and in the manual.

I love this thing
I have it mounted in my little exercise room and I can push it down low and tilted to be able to do exercises on the floor and follow exercise videos or I can push it up tall to watch while on the treadmill or while doing standing exercises. It’s perfect and easy to move around. I can watch it from almost any spot in the room.

Not as advertised, buyer beware
Beware of false advertising. It says this can support up to 44lbs but can’t even hold my monitor weighing 33lbs. It can support it but won’t hold the monitor in place. Keeps falling forward. So, I tried to tighten up the wing bolt behind it until it grabbed, and it stripped. Now I have 100-dollar piece of junk on my wall to deal with. I was considering getting several more of these if they worked. Glad I didn’t.

Holds up well!
I’m using this on a Covered Patio to make the tv easy to “pull and push up and down” to make it easier to put the tv cover on and off. Works well! Installed one before on stucco/brick with no issues and on this home it’s wood/vinyl siding with no issues

This works better than I thought it would.It is very sturdy, and adjusts to the weight of your screen.I’m using it on a slightly older 48″ TV, and it performs very well.

Husband needed a mount for his man cave TV. Needed something that could be pushed up and out of the way. After finding some on other sites, found this one for a third of the price! Arrived a day early. Matches his man cave, plus its just darn cool! Yes he had to use the arm extensions and then a couple spacers to make everything work but we had too with our regular TV mount too. It is heavier than the regular wall mount, it should definitely be screwed into the middle of your joist. Plus it was a two person job, but so were our other wall mount brackets.

Got it about a week after the order. I ended up returning it, not because of the mount but because the wall I wanted to mount it on. They were good on the return, I got my money back within 24 hours of emailing them. I would definitely recommend this item for anyone looking for a wide range of motion in a t.v. mount.
