Works perfectly!
This extender fit my need perfectly and provided connectivity of my TV (on a patio) to an audio receiver (in the garage). The installation was straightforward and the convenience of providing power at either the transmitting or receiving unit was a needed — and appreciated — convenience. I’ve had prior experience with Orei with their HDMI extender, so my confidence was high when I purchased this audio extender. Orei did not disappoint!

Great solution to transmit HDMI or Optical signal long distance.
I used this extender to transmit sound from my Frame Pro TV to my home stereo to play stereo music through the HiFi speakers next to my TV. The Frame Pro TV has a “one connect” box that connects external devices via Bluetooth to the TV. Bluetooth range is about 30′, my stereo is about 50′ from the TV so the one connect box was useless. I moved the one connect box to the TV, attached it with zip ties and used this box to send the TV audio via the optical cable to my stereo and allow my stereo to send the audio to the speakers near my TV. The extender uses ethernet cable to convert the HDMI or optical cable signal to Ethernet and and decodes it at the other end. Complicated? Yes, but it works very well and is a perfect solution to my problem.

Works perfectly between TV HDMI port and Sonos Amp. TV settings are a bit tricky

SPDIF good, ARC no good
2.5 stars. SPDIF works, ARC does not work. Tried multiple tvs with multiple receivers. Goal was to connect TV to WiiM Amp for outdoor stereo sound. Only works when using TosLink Optical cable, not HDMI.

No PoE
Works great and more consistent than most hdmi cables I’ve used for ARC and ends up being cheaper on the long runs.I wish one end was PoE so you don’t have to find 5V power on both sides.

Excelente . IMPORTANTE,usen Cat6, de otra forma no funciona .
