Affordable Polywood Alternative: SERWALL Adirondack Chairs Deliver Quality and Value
The SERWALL Adirondack Chair Set of 4 with Cup Holders is a perfectly fine replacement for Polywood and offers great value for the money. The chairs feel high-quality and sturdy, with a solid composite build that looks like it will last.Assembly was fun and super simple – I put all four together in under an hour. Honestly, those saying it’s difficult probably aren’t very handy. I used my own tools instead of the small ones included, which made the process even easier. All pieces were well-aligned, and the hardware fit perfectly. One tip: the nuts are self-locking and need to be oriented correctly, which some people incorrectly complain as not fitting (again, not very handy). This feature is actually what will keep them from loosening over time, so it’s a good thing.I’ve only had them for a day, so I can’t speak to how they’ll wear over time, but all signs point to a long life based on the build quality and finish.Overall, these chairs are durable, attractive, and a smart buy if you want the Polywood look without the Polywood price.

Sturdy, Comfortable and Easy to Assemble
Overall, I like the Adirondack chair. It’s comfortable and relatively easy to put together.I like the fact that it can fold for transit and storage.I had two minor issues with the chair. The first issue was with the final steps of the assembly instructions. Fortunately, common sense prevailed, but the last two steps (Step 7 and Step 8) gave the exact same written instructions for two different attachment points. The images for the steps were correct, but the written documentation was wrong.The other minor issue I had was the missing screw on the seat. In the photo you can see the hole where the screw was supposed to be. Having a lot of extra screws around the house, I was able to find a screw of the right size to replace the missing one.The two minor issues did not stop me from ordering another chair. Hopefully, the next chair won’t have a missing screw. As far as the incorrect instructions, it’s a good thing that the error occurred at the final stage. By that time, you’ve basically got the entire chair assembled so it’s easy to figure out how to attach the last piece.Oh, and the phone holder on the chair’s left arm is an excellent idea, but the slot isn’t wide enough to hold the phone if your phone has a protective case. However, the goblet holder works perfectly. The workaround for the too-small phone slot is to have a wine glass behind the phone to prop the phone up.

Amazing chairs!
Purchased these for our new fire pit and I’m so happy I did! They fit perfectly around our 46” fire pit on our 12’ x 14’ patio. They arrived partially put together so assembly was fairly simple! They are sturdy and made of quality material, very comfortable. The cup holders on each side of the chairs are an added bonus. I truly love the way they look, the color matches our other patio furniture perfectly! Another added bonus is these chairs are foldable so very easy to store away when not in use! I added some pillows for a pop of color.

Good chairs, bad cup holders.
Had these chairs about a month and you can tell they should last a long time. Only complaint is the cup holders, they fold out from under the armrest but the wrong direction and doing so causes them to not be very useful and harder to reach your drink. They could have had them pivot the other direction and it would work so much better (see pic). The left phone holder is the same way and the slot that’s supposed to hold your phone is so thin you can only get an iPhone W/O a case in it. (Who doesn’t have a case on their iPhone?) Other than that these are good chairs. They sit you more upright than the light weight Plastic Adirondack chairs you can buy at Walmart or Lowe’s. I like the material they are made of because it’s low maintenance and heavy enough to keep them from blowing off the porch in a storm. Assembly wasn’t too tough but if you’re not a DIY’er or mechanical inclined it might be too much. Good instructions though and easy to read. Overall we like them and got our moneys worth.
