Nice Product
I have multiple flickering flame solar lights, including lanterns such as these. I received my first set a few weeks ago, and this is what I have found to be true, so far. These particular lanterns seem to be made of a sturdy plastic, so you do not have to worry about rust from metal. They come with an easy to assemble hanger with clip, if you should desire to use clip. If so desired. They are very bright and realistic looking. Once fully charged, they have operated from dusk until dawn. I have gotten up just before sunrise, and they are still lit. This particular brand is taller than the standard size of other brands I have purchased in the past. The larger size allows for more light, and a better display. My other lanterns have lasted me as long as 5 years, however, I do not know how many years this particular brand will last since I just purchased them this year. I will update my review with longer use. The only downfall to most of these flickering flame torch and lanterns is, that most of them you cannot replace the solar battery should it fail. So far, I like this product and think it would make a nice gift for anyone who has an outdoor deck, or garden to place them in.

Long lasting, quality lantern
I bought these lanterns in 2023. It is now 2025 and they work as well today as they did when I bought them. I live in Minnesota and these have been outside since I bought them. They hang on shepherd’s hooks above my hanging plants in front of my house. I have flower baskets in the summer and holiday baskets in the winter. They have a nice warm glow that flickers as if there’s a burning candle inside. They’re well made and a little bit of sun charges them. A full day of sun keeps them glowing well into the night. Worth the money!

Almost Perfect!
So far these are working great. I use them inside of hanging lanterns on my front porch. Recently purchased a different set by another brand and both stopped working within a month. I will update if these give me any issues. If I could suggest any change it would be that the quite plastic inner cover be a little more translucent so that the flame could appear brighter.

These lanterns look like a realistic flame.
If you want outdoor solar lanterns that not only look like they have a real flame, but also will work for years, these are the ones to buy. I constantly get compliments on these lantern from people who walk by my home . I have given them as gifts, and the recipients were just as impressed as was I. I don’t always write reviews, but these really deserve five stars.

Purchased August 23/22. Worked beautifully and brought in for winter couple of months later. Put back outside May 25/23 to charge. After 4 days, none turned on. Messaged TomCare via Amazon May 29/23, June 5/23 and June 8/23. Gave to day end today for response. Have had the lanterns out in full sunlight since May 25/23. None work.According to Amazon, sellers typically respond to messages within 2 business days. TomCare advertises in descriptions when purchased that items are warrantied for 12 months and to “purchase worry-free”. Not true. They have not responded.Buyer beware.

Beautiful and well made. Nice to look at during the day. At night time these lanterns give off a very nice ambiance. Sturdy construction. Well worth the price. Actually thinking of getting another set for my upstairs balcony. Very pleased with this purchase.
