Cozy, Warm Fireside Scent with a Real Crackling Wick
This WoodWick Fireside candle is exactly what I was hoping for. The scent is warm and cozy, like a real fireplace burning on a cold evening. It’s not too sweet or overpowering, which I really appreciate. It makes the room feel comfortable and relaxing without giving me a headache.The wooden wick is my favorite part. It actually crackles while it burns, and the sound is surprisingly calming. It really does feel like having a small fire going, especially at night. The candle burns evenly, and the scent throw is strong enough to fill a living room without being overwhelming.I also like the size and look of the jar. The 9.7 oz hourglass glass looks nice on a table or shelf, and it makes a great gift for both men and women. Cozy and crackly
This candle arrives as full as is pictured. The scent is better than expected. It is made by Yankee so the quality and color are what you’d expect. They really would make a beautiful gift. It mostly burns evenly, which allows the colors to mix nicely. Best of all, have a delightful crackle sound when burnt!

Wood wick has mastered the art of candle
Burn time is much longer than my standard tall yankee 2 wick. Smells great and love the crackling “especially if you get a few going simultaneously”. I have no idea how to trim them or if its even necessary like standard 1/4″ wicks so I don’t bother to avoid destroying the cross wick. I also use a little torch “if necessary” and common sense to prevent wax tunneling on the perimeter. Excellent candle overall

Scent and Ingredients Description Less Perfume
Woodwick candles are great I have been using them for years. The longevity different sizes variety of flavorful scents are great, this is the first time I tried the Redwood scent, I did research on the scent blends and notes which were what I was looking for but not the strong perfume which comes through stronger than the other scents to create the Redwood. My research online at Woodwick stated there was no strong perfume scent in Redwood so I purchased it. There is a very strong perfume scent and it causes an unfavorable reaction to my sinuses and a headache so on that note….I suggest there be a scent description as well ingredients of each Woodwick candle, it would be helpful here. I have noticed the changes to the Woodwick candles most of the scents do have an over powering perfume scent to them unfortunately, some few years back that was not so much. This is the second Woodwick I have purchased with strong perfume scent, I gifted them to someone that the scent of strong perfume didn’t bother. I will continue to purchase the Woodwick and as long as the price does not increase. Woodwick is a great candle product, I hope they cut out that over powering perfume scent, the last time I was in the redwood forest I did not smell perfume.

The nicest candle
Order arrived in one piece, was worried about the shape it would be in, other reviews had the glass broken but this was pristine. The humidor scent is outstanding, as in the description a little cigar along with some leather and a mild spice smell. Per instructions I lit it and did a long burn around four hours. The crackling fire sounds from the wick can lull you to sleep along with the smell of it. After four hours it looks like it might have burned down maybe a quarter inch. This will last a long time at that ra.overall a great product.

After buying this candle in Humidor and loving the scent, tght I’d try this as “fireplace” is one of my fave winter scents to burn, this one did not disappoint!! It has a sweetness that blends well with the smoke scent. Fills the room nicely . I always burn for 3-4 hours to avoid pooling and uneven burn. At this price point it’s definitely worth the buy, the Woodwick website charges $35 USD, and they don’t ship to Canada! Highly recommend (but Humidor is definitely my favorite scent)UPDATE: After burning this candle every night, I noticed a layer of melted wax all over my counter, the flickering of the wick must cause the wax to spit up&out, not sure if this wld ever be a fire hazard but the fact I have wax all over the counter, I wld not repurchase or recommend

I love woodwick candles. I have a black cherry one which I love lighting and listening to the crackle, but what I really wanted was something that would smell like a proper wood fire too. They have several “fire” fragrances, bonfire, fireside, etc, but based on other reviews I thought I’d try this one. Definitely smokey! Success!
