In the back of my pantry, I found a brand-new cast iron grill pan that I had forgotten I bought. I had never used cast iron before. I washed it and then went through the crazy process of seasoning the pan with oil in it in the oven for an hour, even though it was supposedly pre-seasoned. JUNK!!! My chicken cutlets stuck and my house was full of smoke. Then, it was a nightmare to even try to clean…I was so sad and disappointed…I then decided I would find a better alternative. I did quite a bit of research, both on Amazon and other sites. I read reviews and watched videos…Finally, I settled on this grill pan and I am so happy I did! This pan is perfect. It cooks everything wonderfully and is very easy to clean. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a grill pan who doesn’t want to deal with the prospect of cast iron. Plus, if you really think about it, it’s pretty gross that you are not supposed to wash cast iron!Bottom line, if you want a grill pan this one is the best value and quality combination it does what it is supposed to do, is very durable and is super-easy to clean. I love this pan! This is a definite buy!

Based upon the recommendation of many chefs and “foodies,” I had once been convinced that only cast iron pans were acceptable for stovetop grilling. After struggling for a few years with the weight, smoking, difficulty cleaning and re-seasoning of cast iron, I decided to try something different. This pan fit the bill! It is sturdy and well-made, not overly heavy but substantial. Heat distribution on my glass stovetop is even and the pan sears well leaving beautiful grill marks. The metal handle and pan are well-balanced. The metal handle has the additional advantage of being oven safe even at high temperature, so I can sear and finish in the oven at various temps. I have used this pan with both metal (gently) and silicone utensils and the surface remains perfect. Cleaning is a dream: after a brief soak in soapy water (cooled pan to prevent warping), food residue wipes off with a swish of a dishcloth. Truthfully, you can wipe most everything off with a paper towel without any water! I would definitely consider purchasing products in this brand again.

Terrific!!
This pan does a great job of grilling chicken breasts and chicken thighs. It leaves great Grill marks. It’s extremely easy to clean. I wash it by hand rather than put it in the dishwasher because I don’t want the heat and the harsh detergents from the dishwasher lifting the nonstick service, but it’s absolutely great and everything I’ve cooked so far turns out beautifully, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Unboxed this today and decided to try some chicken breasts. I usually use a heavy cast iron grill pan but wanted something a little more light weight.I seared the chicken on both sides, then transferred it to a 350 degree oven to finish. Turned out great. Clean up was a breeze. This grossly outperformed the KitchenAid equivalent.I deducted a star because the ridges could stand to be a bit taller to give a more consistent sear pattern – and to keep grease and oil drippings away from food.

Honestly I expected this pan to be similar to the one I bought at one of the big box stores but I was very pleased to see it is much more heavy duty and has a lot of cooking surface! I was able to cook 12 large burgers at once. Clean up was a breeze too – just added dawn and hot water while it was still hot and let it sit for about 20 minutes…. basically wiped right out! I did use cooking spray prior to adding the burgers. Love this pan and use it quite often!!

I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this pan. It cooks even, it browns the meat to perfection, I spray non stick on the pan before I cook. It cleans with a little soap and sponge. It’s my second one my old pan I bought 2 years works like new.

Best Grill Pan!
This is the third time I purchased this pan. (One was a gift to a friend.) First let me say that in about 7 minutes, (3 1/2 minutes on each side, medium-high), you can have the best steak, London Broil, chicken breast, salmon, pretty much any meat, poultry and fish ready to eat. You can use a little cooking spray, if you wish, but it is not necessary for great taste. A little cooking oil is recommended so chicken breast doesn’t stick on high heat. You can us a high flame that won’t result in smoke and/or burning when you don’t use oil, butter or cooking spray. If you choose to use them, your pan (like any other pan) will smoke on high heat. A 1″ steak, cooked 3 1/2 minutes on each side, will be medium-rare. Rule of thumb for chicken is 4 minutes for each side, if the cutlet/breast is thick. Most cooks know. I have used teriyaki sauce (or concoctions containing it) with this pan, but I want to let you know you should put sauces on at the last minute, and keep the meat moving, so it doesn’t burn. Teriyaki has sugar, which will burn on high heat, for example. I bought another pan so I can cook two, different meats at the same time. Jumbo shrimp come out great also, as does sliced zucchini! Burgers come out so, so good! Chicken cutlet is fabulous when cooked 2 minutes w/o dressing and the last 2 minutes brush with Ranch dressing. You can’t go wrong with this pan.

Test drive tonight, and I’m quite pleased with the weight, size, and results. Used a little bit of avocado oil even though I don’t think the fish needed it. Did baby bells and Mahi Mahi. Nice grill marks. Cooked on gas stove top.After it cooled, super easy to wash.Glad I bought this one after extensive research on so many others. Recommend this.
