Very sturdy, raised handles on three sides, generous size
This is a good stainless steel grill topper which feels solid and does not bend or twist. I believe it will hold up to being fully loaded with food headed for the grill. The rim on three sides is raised and tapered outward forming handles on three sides which makes it easy to grasp, move, and carry, a real help when dealing with extremely hot grill pans. The description says the pan is 17.7×12.6″ and my measurements seem to match that. The actual cooking area with holes is 15 3/4′ wide x 11″ deep not including the raised bar at the edge without a handle; with that bar included in the measurement it comes very close to 12″ by my measuring tape – all that to say it is a generously sized surface for meats and vegetables.The description says a couple of things that I cannot verify. First, cast iron is mentioned in the construction but I can see no evidence of cast iron. It certainly does not look like any cast iron bakeware I already own! However, it also mentions stainless steel which is what this appears to be on the exterior. That being said a magnet will easily stick so while I am not a metals expert my guess would be there is some iron in there somewhere but I certainly would not call it cast.The second claim in the description is that the pan is nonstick and easily wipes clean. It certainly does not look nonstick and I cannot imagine grilling barbecue chicken on this pan and then only wiping it clean, but that has yet to be tested.Price wise I believe it is a bit higher than a similar pan at a local sporting goods store, but I believe this pan is larger and heavier. In summation this is a good quality sturdy grill pan, generous in size, from which I think we will get a lot of use.

A well-made grilling essential, just make sure it fits your grill.
A perforated pan is pretty much essential for outdoor cooking. Whether grilling small items, like shrimp, or smoking soft meats, like meat loaf, you need a perforated pan.This is a good-sized pan, and you’ll need to make sure your grill can handle it. It will easily hold two or three pounds of shrimp plus vegetables. On a smoker, it will support two or three good-sized meat loaves or several dozen meatballs. The perforations allow the smoke to circulate all around the meat.The things I like most about the pan, are the stainless steel construction, and the shaped sides of the pan that form handles. The handles are huge, running the full length and width of the pan. With so many places to grab, maneuvering the hot pan is easy. They’re easy to grab with potholders or even heavy mitts.Stainless steel is durable and easy to clean. That’s important for pans used on a smoker, because they get coated with greasy smoke. I would recommend spraying the pan with cooking spray or oil before putting food on it to prevent sticking. Unfortunately, rain, freezing temperatures, and high wind warnings aren’t compatible with taking photos of the pan in use, so the photos are from when the pan first arrived.

Awesome grill pan
Perfect grilling pan for my needs. The stainless steel is my go to material for most of my grilling pans because it’s durable, good quality and more lightweight than cast iron. This pan is no exception. I also think the size of the holes is perfect for letting the flames and heat in, and keeping the food on it.I can grill my shrimp and veggies without wasting time and money on skewers I normally used, making this an exceptional value for me. It’s large enough to feed my family on it, and it also cleaned up easily which is another big win for me.Yes, I recommend this product!

solid, stable, stainless steel that is quality!
I have not used this yet because of weather but it looks great, feels solid, solid enough to not have to worry about warping for sure. It doesn’t bend or twist at all! Because it is stainless steel, cleaning it won’t be an issue, thanks to oven cleaner! The uniform holes are large enough to get a great grilling going but small enough so things can’t fall through. Overall, it appears to be a 10/10 item and well worth the price. I recommend this item for anyone looking for a grill topper that is solid, stable, and will probably last for many, many years.

Not quite what is claimed…
Reading the store page for this item, you’d be thinking you were getting a heavy cast iron “pan” with some sort of non-stick coating on it. The truth is far from that.This isn’t cast iron, and it doesn’t appear to have a non-stick “varnish” on it either – if it did, I’d be very wary of using it on a grill with high temps, as most non-stick coatings begin to degrade under high temperatures. If it is actually just stainless steel, then it should be safe, but will likely warp at some point (thin) and show signs of discoloration.For the price – I don’t think it is worth it, as you can find plain old stainless grill toppers for under $10.I might use it for some of my specialty breads in the oven, as the holes on the bottom will allow steam to pass through easily, so it does have uses…

Perfect grill pan for veggies and smaller foods
This grill pan has been really handy for outdoor grilling. The stainless steel feels sturdy, and the holes are the right size to let smoke and heat through without losing food. I used it during a weekend cookout for vegetables and shrimp, and everything cooked evenly without sticking or falling through the grates.
