Perfect
I was looking for a slow cooker that was more flat to even out meat. This was a winner. I think I use it 3-4 times a week for both meat dishes, soups and dips. It also looks great on the counter. Love the sage color. The lid is flat and classy.

Attractive slow cooker
This is a lovely slow cooker. I have for years had crock-pot slow cookers in the round or oval shape, silver with black liners, about 8 inches deep. This is much shallower, and I was a little concerned that it would not cook as well. I was wrong. It cooks just as well as the old-fashioned ones, and it’s much more attractive on my counter. The heat levels seem to be pretty similar to my old slow cookers. And even though it’s much lighter, it cooks just as well. My only complaint is that the diagram showing the width of the cooker apparently did not include the handles. So when I tried to put it in the cupboard where I’ve stored my old slow cooker, it wouldn’t fit. But it’s so pretty, I kept it anyway.
